The Role

Now the client is looking for a Senior Web App Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing engaging games and applications using Web technologies. This role requires a creative mindset, strong technical skills, and a passion for gaming. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative concepts to life and deliver high-quality user experiences.

Your Responsibilities

1. Web App Development:
   • Implemented complex (game) mechanics, user interfaces, animations, and visual effects to create immersive user experiences.
   • Optimize performance for a smooth and responsive gameplay experience across different devices and browsers.
2. Cross-Platform Compatibility:
   • Ensure compatibility and responsiveness of games across various platforms and devices, including desktop, mobile, and tablets.
   • Test games on different browsers and devices to identify and resolve compatibility issues and optimize performance.
3. Collaboration and Creativity:
   • Collaborate with game designers, artists, and other developers to brainstorm ideas, define game concepts, and bring them to life.
   • Contribute creative ideas and solutions to enhance gameplay, user engagement, and overall gaming experience.
   • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in HTML5 game development to drive innovation and maintain competitiveness.
4. Quality Assurance:
   • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix bugs, glitches, and performance issues.
   • Work closely with QA testers to ensure the quality and stability of games before release.
   • Implement analytics and tracking tools to gather user feedback and insights for continuous improvement.
5. Documentation and Maintenance:
   • Document code, game design specifications, and development processes for future reference and knowledge sharing.
   • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for released games, including updates, patches, and bug fixes.
   • Collaborate with the technical support team to address user inquiries and resolve technical issues related to games.

What You Bring to the Table

• Strong Experience with React & Next.js and/or Vue & Nuxt.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with PixiJS, Phaser and/or CreateJS.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, MUI, SASS, CSS Animations.
• Experience with Node.js, REST APIs, Vite, Git, Strapi, CMS.
